Tak Bat Devo Ceremony at Wat Chong Samaesan

8 October 2025(Waning Moon Day 1 of the 11th Lunar Month)

Residents of Samaesan Subdistrict and tourists joined together in preserving the beautiful Buddhist tradition by offering rice and dry food during the Tak Bat Devo ceremony.

The monks of Wat Chong Samaesan walked down from the Luang Pho Dam Vihara, passed through the market area, and proceeded to the Bodhi Courtyard of Wat Chong Samaesan, where the alms-giving ceremony took place.

Many Buddhists participated in this meritorious activity. A portion of the donated rice and dry food was organized into relief packages under the direction of Phra Khru Wisarnsutakorn, Abbot of Wat Chong Samaesan and Chief Monk of Sattahip District.

A total of 80 relief packages were prepared and distributed to local residents, with the assistance of the Village Health Volunteers (VHV) of Samaesan Subdistrict, so that the donations could continue to benefit the community.
