Merit-Making on Buddhist Holy Day under the “District Chief Leads People to the Temple” Program

The District Chief of Sattahip, together with the administrators of Ban Chong Samaesan Community School, students, the President of Samaesan Subdistrict Administrative Organization, government officials, local business owners, and residents, participated in merit-making activities on the Buddhist Holy Day (the waning 8th lunar day of the 3rd lunar month, Year of the Dragon) at the sermon hall of Wat Chong Samaesan under the “District Chief Leads People to the Temple” Program.

On this occasion, the District Chief of Sattahip joined the congregation in paying homage to the Buddha, observing the Five Precepts, listening to the monks chanting auspicious blessings (Chai Mongkhon Katha), attending a Dhamma sermon, and receiving blessings through the traditional water-pouring dedication ceremony.
